Forever Lost: Episode 2
Description
Forever Lost: Episode 2, takes off where Episode 1 ended: after escaping the mental institution, the player is now above ground - but everything is still abandoned and the mystery still needs to be solved. There no changes compared to the predecessor; just new areas and different (and more) puzzles.
This is a first-person adventure game with rendered graphics. There is no free fluid movement; the player moves between still shots. Obviously there are many puzzles to solve which are both inventory (searching the rooms for items and using them on other items) and logic (e.g. finding out codes, interpreting hieroglyphs or switch puzzles) based. The player also needs to use computers and solve action-based mini games like a Space Invaders variant in order to gain clues or items. The game allows to make snapshots of things to use them as reference and features a built-in hint function.
