Frogs vs. Storks
Gradually, a number of bonuses and hazards are introduced. Frogs receive extra points for catching flowers of flies, but when a stork gets them first, points are lost. Storks sometimes leave behind eggs that are worth points. A number of hazards can be used to the player's advantage. Water on top of a lily doubles the movement and broken ones cause the frogs or storks to reappear at the starting positions. Using these is often required to get out of an impossible situation. Although the difficulty increases with each level, every environment is randomly generated for each game, but based on the same variables that determine the difficulty.
Later levels become more complex when more than five frogs are controlled. The player needs to select them individually and only one can be moved per turn. Reaching the safe haven with a few is not sufficient, as they remain vulnerable until all frogs have reach the yellow lilies. There are often multiple storks and in some levels their movement is doubled. Another aspect of difficulty is the lazy frog. It cannot be moved by itself, but needs to be pushed around by a regular frog. The player has however an unlimited amount of tries.
