Passage
Description
Passage is an experimental game/art/discussion piece. A large part of the appeal is in discovering exactly what it's about and what it might mean to you.
Briefly, though, it is a representation of the journey through life. Each game lasts five minutes, during which your character will grow older and finally die. It's up to you how you spend those five minutes. You can explore the endlessly scrolling gameworld alone, or with a partner. You can take an easy route (thereby getting 'further' but perhaps missing out on things along the way) or a less secure option; venturing deep into a maze of tunnels, in the hope of finding treasure. You have a score, which is affected in various ways by the choices you make, but the way you play is entirely up to you.

Trivia
The game was an entry in kokoromi.org's Gamma256 competition, which encouraged the creation of games with a small number of pixels (The highest resolution allowed was 256x256). Therefore, Passage is displayed as a 100x12 horizontal strip in the center of a black screen, with an appropriately retro art-style.
