Simply put, this is quite a perfect adventure game that joins a not-as-perfect-but-still-really-damn-good modern adaptation of a perfect adventure game. What we have is a classic game packaged in a way for everyone (PC or console gamer alike) to finally and easily play it, and that's exactly what you should do -- whether you're learning the secret of Monkey Island for the first or 50th time.

The Secret of Monkey Island is a truly memorable experience, whether or not this is the first time you've played it. The new graphics, voice work, hint system and autosave make a great game even better, and even though the controls are not a perfect fit for the iDevice, this special edition is still a Must Have. If you want an incredibly entertaining adventure game that is a big step beyond any other on the iPhone, you must buy this game.

The iPod Touch/iPhone features a number of awesome, classic games for point-and-click adventure fans. If my experiences with those games thus far are any indication, developers are still having some trouble working out the best way to control those games, but don't let that stop you from experiencing The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. If you love this genre and have never played this game, you owe it to yourself to find out why it holds a special place in the hearts of so many people. Now, if we could only get them to re-release Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango...

The Secret of Monkey Island's new graphics, voice-over, hint system, and autosave make a great game even better. It's a truly an entertaining and memorable experience, whether or not this is the first time you've played it.

Adventure enthusiasts and fans of Monkey Island will have no trouble making their minds up about buying this game. For those new to the genre you'd be hard pressed finding a better game to introduce you to the genre that defined a generation of gamers.
