Driver: L.A. Undercover
Description
Driver: L.A. Undercover is a mobile entry in the Driver racing game series. Like in the console games, Tanner is the protagonist and this time he has to infiltrate the criminal underworld of Los Angeles. The gameplay is similar to the Asphalt series, both in appearance (mix of 2D sprites and 3D objects) and gameplay. Acceleration is automatic while nitro boosts can be used to increase the speed. The levels are open but the mission structure is entirely linear. In addition to the racing there are some shoot 'em up sections where Tanner leaves his car. In these the player has to take cover and then aim and shoot at the enemy gang members. While driving it is also possible to shoot at enemy cars through the window. As the car takes damage it is necessary to stop at garages to have it repaired. It is also necessary to avoid police cars. One way is to stop at the station and pay a bribe.
