Super Sketcher (J2ME)

100 point score based on reviews from various critics.
5 point score based on user ratings.

When an undisclosed person starts doodling during a maths class to pass the time, one of his sketches comes alive. The player needs to guide the character through different obstacle courses by drawing parts that prevent him from tripping. There are six possible actions (three different lines and three jumps) and players only have a short amount of time to choose the appropriate action.

Using line art as a visual style, the drawn character builds up speed when running unhindered. When the speed reaches the maximum, players can press a button to go into turbo mode where all help is drawn automatically for a short time. The character can only trip a few times, but health can be replenished by collecting music notes.

Next to the main story mode there is a game box mode, along with bonus tracks. The game contains many mini-games where the character repeatedly needs to jump over a pole, or where almost the entire course can be drawn at random.
