Interior of the Arrow Fighter by the O'Catanut race. You have two types of radar on the 21 ships of the game: Front (displays ships on your POV) and Aft (displays ships behind you).
Firing at the Ajax, O'Catanut's Supership. BattleSphere is one of the few Jaguar titles to feature true transparency.
By pressing 5 on the Jaguar's keypad, you can toggle between other weapons. Each ship has a different set of weapons.
Destroying the Blade in-sight, the Bomber ship of the Se'bab race.
Blown up by a rival.
One of the weapons in the game makes the exact same firing noise as in Star Raiders, which is one of the biggest inspirations of BattleSphere.
Gauntlet Mode - Think of it as an endless Missile Command 3D but will full 3D control. You need to defend 6 of your starbases from wave after wave of enemies.
When you destroy a Capitol Ship, they explode in a supernova-like animation.
Gauntlet Mode - Fighter wave.
Pilot Training - Here's where you can get familiarized with the game's mechanics. For example, this is level 1, where you need to destroy stationary targets.
Pilot Training - Level 2 - Here, you need to eliminate moving targets.
Pilot Training - Level 3 - This is where you need to get rid of targets who are trying to evade your shots.
Alone Against The Empire - In other words, Star Raiders 2000. You have a map where you can command ships to defend starbases or fight against enemy ships or capitol ships in higher levels.
Hyperspace activated
Docking in front of your starbase for recharging shields and weapons.
Fighting against a group of enemy fighters and superships.
Free-For-All - Things gets pretty hectic when you set the number of ship to 15 and AI difficulty.
This is the dashboard of one of the unlockable ships via cheat code, the Intruder ships.
This another of the unlockable ships, the Developer's Ships.
Galactic Conquest Never Looked So Fun!
Hyperspace activated. This animation is only exclusive for BattleSphere Gold (aka the update for BattleSphere/BattleSphere Director's Cut in other words) and only activated via cheat code.
One of the hidden mini-games within BattleSphere Gold; Defector SL.
Another of the hidden mini-games within BattleSphere Gold; Pyro Pong.
Gauntlet Mode; Wave 6666 - The other 6665 waves were mere warming ups. Here, this will get truly serious...
Gauntlet Mode; Wave 6667 - Told 'ya so...
