Super Burnout's voice samples are crisp, and the music is actually very pleasant - unlike most racers with their obnoxious soundtracks. Easy to play and easy on the eyes, Super Burnout is about as much fun as you can have on the Jaguar.
I can’t say enough Super Burnout. Everything about this game screams quality. While the game wasn’t the system seller Atari so desperately needed, it is a bright spot in the Jaguar’s otherwise underwhelming game library. Racing fans will appreciate the fine control and excellent track design. Casual gamers will appreciate the high speed visuals. This is a must own title.
The Atari Times
Overall, Super BurnOut provides the elements for a solid racing title. It's fast, fun and addictive. All it lacks is that spark of originality that would boost it to the front of the pack.
Digital Press - Classic Video Games
It's a shame then that so few people discuss Super Burnout. It's buried in a sea of Road Rash clones, and while there's plenty to admire in that series, Super Burnout is just about racing (not beheading your opponents too). By keeping it simple, the developers put their efforts in this one strictly for racing, and this is the nearly flawless result. This is one of the consoles best titles, without question.
Game Players
While a game like Super Burnout is definitely not head-turning the same way Daytona USA or Ridge Racer be, it ends up pleasing a great deal of Jaguar owners with it's exciting gameplay and sense of realistic motorcycle racing.

Overall, Super Burn Out provides the elements necessary for a solid racing title. All it lacks is that spark of originality that would boost it to the front of the pack.
Video Games

One has to wonder why so many of the Jaguar's games look and feel so horribly dated. With an already suspect library of titles, Atari just seems to be adding fuel to the fire by releasing video game dreck like this. No thanks, I like the '90's.

I don't know where the Atari system is heading, but I know for sure this title will not make it to the top. The graphics and animations are crisp, but there are a lot of factors missing. You can't even hear the roaring engines that you normally do in a race. Handling your bike doesn't come easy - very frustrating. I love racing games, but this one really disappointed me.
