If you're looking for a true simulation of the bone-crunching wonder that is Mickey Thompson's Off-Road Grand Prix, then keep searching. Supercross 3-D fails to deliver the Moto-X goods.

Overall, Supercross 3D is an extremely playable game. The bad frame rate, and the fact that going off track results in a crash is likely a turn-off for most gamers. But if you stick with it, the excellent controls and decent AI offer a decent challenge. Flawed for sure, but recommended for racing fans.

In Supercross 3-D, you thrash it out with seven racers, over steep jumps and bumps. This dirt-bike action is slow, however, tricky controls add to the frustration. Although 3-D graphics add realism, a strobe-light flicker mars the generic tracks. Schlocky sounds only add to the agony. After doing the math, even shoddy 16-bit racers like Dirt Trax FX beat this one.

The Atari Times
Sadly, this piece of trash is exactly the type of thing that Atari put out at the time when the company was in desperate need of some great titles for the Jaguar. I maintain that some work on the framerate would have made this title enjoyable, but no one bothered to put in the time to make that necessary improvement. The result is a game that's best left collecting dust on the shelf of your favorite used game store. Don't buy it for any price and don't even let someone give you a free copy of this. You'll just be frustrated.

Probabilmente uno dei peggiori giochi del Jaguar, che porta a galla con prepotenza i limiti tecnici che hanno affossato il "64bit" di casa Atari.

Game Zero
This game was so terrible it nearly brought tears to my eyes. It's games like this that put the Jaguar and Atari where it is today... ehem... Play control is a joke. Graphics blow chunks like I never even imagined (I've played ten year old Apple //e games better looking than this), sound is annoying... oh please, someone stop me! Better yet, I'll stop myself. Avoid this game like the plague.

The Video Game Critic
Even if you get proficient at navigating the courses, the racing aspect is incredibly weak. There is little sense of speed, and collision detection is non-existent. The sound effects are muddled and sloppy. It's probably a good thing that Atari didn't attempt a split-screen mode. For a 64 bit system, the Jaguar never ceases to amaze.
