DescriptionJim Bagley's ZX81 Racing is a racing game viewed from a top down perspective featuring single screen race tracks similar to those in Super Sprint. Controls are simple with buttons for steering left and right as well as accelerating and braking. There are two game modes: survival and speed race. In the survival mode the car automatically moves forward at a steady pace (starting at 160 mph) and the player has to avoid crashing by steering left and right. For each lap survived the speed increases by 4 mph. In the speed game the player races against the clock and has to complete ten laps in the best possible time. When crashing the speed drops to zero and the player has to start accelerating again. The game has eight different race tracks.
