Advertising Blurbs - Wii:
Originally released in Japan (are you sensing a pattern here?), "Kato & Ken" was loosely based on the TV show "Fun With Kato Chan & Ken Chan". And for you trivia buffs out there, "Fun With Kato Chan & Ken Chan" spawned a US inspired show called, "America's Funniest Home Videos". Once the American video game industry got their hands on the game they deemed it too strange for US audiences and promptly revised the original. What was once considered a strange game by Japanese standards quickly became an even more twisted American rendition!! Thus, "J.J. & Jeff" was born. Now you can enjoy the wonderfully screwball weirdosity that is, "J.J & Jeff" on your Wii™ Virtual Console™!!

J.J & Jeff are two bungling detectives on the case trying to find a missing millionaire. Control either J.J. or Jeff as you run, jump, kick stomp, and spray anything that gets in your way. Yes, you read that correctly. Our hapless heroes control a powerful spray can of... stuff that can be used as a very effective medium range weapon! The original Japanese game had J.J and Jeff literally killing their enemies with a good dose of flatulence.

Play through 6 levels with 4 areas each. Battle the boss at the end of every level and rescue that millionaire! Be careful though, as time wears on your life meter begins to drop! Collect power-ups and try to retain your full health until the end of each area to earn bonus points. And don't forget, this is a detective game! That means there are tons of hidden objects! Kick everything in sight to reveal secrets, bonus items, clues, and more!

If you like strange, niche platformer games you will love J.J. & Jeff (if you don't already)! Let's be honest, who doesn't love a game where enemies attack you with feces ? Exactly. J.J. & Jeff is one of the strangest oddities to come out on TurboGrafx-16. And now, it's the most bizarre game available on your Wii™ Virtual Console™!!
