The Journeyman Project is lean and mean, short and sweet, and it was very worth my time. I certainly look forward to playing the next two titles in the series.

Pack a lunch, grab a sweater, and buckle up, adventure fans. We’re going time travelling, courtesy of Presto Studios.

The "turbo" in the title comes from the fact that the original 1992 release was given a 'tarting' up, particularly in terms of speed, and re-released in 1994 claiming to be 300% faster (hence turbo). I can't comment how much faster it is but this version ran quite ok. I like time travel as a concept, and enjoy the paradoxes and conundrums that fiddling with time presents. I trust the next two instalments of the Journeyman saga will offer a bit more of everything than this outing.

In 1992, Sanctuary Woods publishes The Journeyman Project. It suffers from great performance problems with slow animations and excessive long load times. An updated version with faster graphics and load times, published in 1994, is dubbed The Journeyman Project Turbo!. This update claims to be more than 300% faster than the original. Although gamers may be awed by its breathtaking graphics, key design flaws and extremely short gameplay still prevent this title from living up to the hype it has once generated.
