King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones

I've downloaded this game three times now and can't get it to work - it won't find any .exe files: KQ2VGA.exe or KQ2Menu.exe are just not there. "Open as Administrator" doesn't work, either, and I've hunted all over my hard drive...all I can find are shortcuts. Any ideas?

Yeah, there seem to be a problem with the installer running under x64 edition of Vista. Here is the list of files you should have in your KQ2VGA folder with music and voice pack installed, tell me what files are missing and I'll try to email them to you:

I have no files besides shortcuts. I even made a folder: c:\Program Files\Tierra, and nothing is there. Searches only come up with the shortcuts and the shortcuts can't find any files...

edit - oh wait...finding something. Wow, how did they get there: C:\Users\Mom\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\Tierra...........

Edit one last time - Working. Had to install the downloads as administrator, thought the forum I was reading meant open as administrator...whew.
