Auch wenn Nintendos neuestes Produkt eigentlich nur eine weitere Tetris-Variante ist, hat dieses Spiel doch viel zu bieten, und Ihr könnt mit Kirby manche Sternstunde erleben.
With oodles of Kirby all over the game, Kirby’s Star Stacker has a decorous presentation, including pleasant-yet-repetitive music and cute Kirby character animations. While playing King Dedede laughs at you, which is both funny and somewhat maddening. Kirby’s Star Stacker is a charming game with deeper puzzle gameplay then you may have expected. Star Stacker is worth of any player’s time, especially if they have a deep infatuation for Kirby and novel puzzle games.
Back when it was released, Kirby's Star Stacker was an amazing piece of puzzling goodness. Now, 15 years down the road, it has been surpassed by so many other games in the same genre that some of the sheen has obviously faded. Far be it from being a woeful example of block-matching, though, as it still proves to be addictive enough to warrant the eShop Virtual Console price tag of £2.70. Whilst it should be noted that there are more in-depth puzzlers to be sampled, and that merely getting sucked in by the Kirby façade would be naïve, it is certainly not one to completely ignore due to its age.
If you're looking for another Game Boy puzzler besides the standards like Tetris, give Kirby's Star Stacker a shot, especially if you like Kirby. In the puzzle category, the plumber who's a doctor has got in his court, despite Kirby's sorta noble effort.
