Description
Lander X is a
Lunar Lander variant. This version does not include graphics and uses textual input. Like other
Lunar Lander games the player must successfully land a spacecraft on the Lunar surface. In order to do so the player must tell the computer the amount of thrust to apply in ten second intervals. Thrust values lie between 0 and 500 and push the spacecraft away from the planet's surface. Gravity will automatically pull the spacecraft towards the surface. The spacecraft has only limited fuel, constraining the player's options. The player is shown the current velocity, altitude and fuel levels at all times.
