Men precis lika bra.

Nintendo 64Just Adventure
For you adventure purists, I feel obligated to tell you that there are several situations that require action, namely the cliched big "bosses" in each major area of the game. To this I say: get a grip, you can do it. But seriously, to ditch Majora's Mask for this reason would be a shame, mainly because the majority of the game is spent thinking through scenarios and exploring the vast areas of Termina. This is the ultimate adventure for someone like me. I only wish other companies were making games as well as Nintendo made Majora's Mask.

The hardest part in reviewing games of this calibre, is finding flaws with it. To be honest, I couldn't really find anything to complain about with this title. Everything is SO well put together and solid, I can't say anything negative about it. Once again, Nintendo has created a near-perfect game that everyone can enjoy. It is a time-less adventure, and I sure had fun playing it. Graphically, this game is a slight upgrade to the already radiant Ocarina of Time, as it utilizes the 4 MB expansion pak. In the sound department, the game is flawless. From overall sound effects to the actual music, the game brings back old familiar tunes, throws in some new ones, and creates one of the best gaming soundtracks out there. And the gameplay can't be beaten. It has a plethora of puzzles to solve, dangerous and dark dungeons, and MUCHO mini-games to keep you going. I can't say enough about Majora's Mask. Just BUY IT. A player's choice award DEFINETELY goes out for this one!!

Nintendo 64Edutaining Kids
Majora's Mask features rich and challenging gameplay. Kids are immersed in a fabulous fantasy world, and they won't "beat" the game too soon, either.

So in conclusion, do I recommend this game for anyone? No I don't. I recommend this work of Godly art to people who have patience, people who like a challenge, people who do not have a serious heart condition because the exceptional graphics will make you freak out, to people who have played and mastered Ocarina of Time as well as those people who have never touched a Zelda game before. Basically, if you have an N64 and you think you have what it takes to rescue a parallel universe on your own from the brink of destruction, then buy Zelda: Majora's Mask. If you don't, you will be missing out on what will forever be called "The best game of all time"... Of course, until Zelda for Nintendo Gamecube is released, but that's a whole different story now isn't it.

Many sequel games seem to be a repeat with only a few changes to the original. This one however has managed to carve a place for itself and the only thing it has in common with its predecessor is the familiar characters. You are comfortable with Link, as you were introduced to him so long ago, but you also get the feeling that you really don’t know this character at all. Gamers will appreciate the expansion of the character.

If you’re wondering why I didn’t give Majora an 10 like I gave OoT, it's akin to the same reasoning that IGN64.com used. Innovation. While the tweaks on the gameplay, instruments, and time are all incredibly unique, the game is still based on the masterwork-- Ocarina of Time, which didn’t just break new ground but shattered it. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being perfect, is there?

Nintendo 64IGN
It should be said that much of the game design was done by Eiji Aonuma and his team at Nintendo. The Zelda creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, actually only supervised this title offering a lending hand at critical junctures. Bearing that in mind we can see Nintendo is starting to develop the talents of other staff. Clearly we'll be seeing more brilliant games on top of Miyamoto-san's own in the near future. We couldn't be happier with how Majora's Mask turned out. I feel honored to have been able to review it.

Nintendo 64Gaming Target
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is an extraordinary game. From the minute you start playing, you are thrown into a brand new world full of adventures and interesting stories. While it does not have the same immediate “wow” factor as the original game, Majora’s Mask is without a doubt a must have title. I could go on and on about how great this game is, but the fact of the matter is, it would do readers no good. You simply must buy this game if you’re even a slight Nintendo fan. No other sequel has ever been able to use the same previous engine in such a creative and ingenious way. While the amazement behind the Z-targeting innovation is not as strong, so many other variations in gameplay make this one of the best titles ever.

Slapping a timer onto every second of the game creates intense pandemonium and requires split-second decision making. Other than being one of the most inventive premises in all of gaming, Majora’s Mask electrifies in every way possible. From graphical detailing and classic sound effects to the intriguing plot and gameplay, this Zelda is a triumph. Without question, Majora’s Mask is the finest adventure the Nintendo 64 has to offer.

In summary, the game is great! Buy this game if you like the Zelda series in the slightest. It may be a bit short, but it makes up for it in so may different ways. Two thumbs UP!

If you've already played it, you can enjoy it all over again but we suspect there's a whole audience of Zelda fans who came in at Wind Waker or Twilight princess and deserve to see just how dark Link's adventures can really be.

Zelda: MM is extremely easy to learn, and is a definate buy from anyone with a N64 or anyone that's played anyother Zelda game.

Nintendo 64Game Revolution
Ocarina of Time was a legendary game. It took a wildly successful long-running series and successfully brought it into the third dimension, creating new play concepts and paradigms used in many games today. At the same time, it really captured the player and was fun to play. Majora's Mask does not follow suit in terms of innovation, but is still a worthy successor. The two new additions of time and masks work well. It takes a little longer to get into this Zelda, but there are moments when the game really hits you with all its intricacies and mysteries, and that makes it all worthwhile.

The N64 is a faded system, nearly forgotten and barely missed. But before it dies, the world should know that it did have a few titles that were worth playing, such as Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, almost any other Golden Eye rip off, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This is a game that no N64 library is complete without. So, if you haven't sold your system off, I'd have to suggest that you get it.

Nintendo 64Gaming Age
It will provide gamers with many hours of fun and enjoyment. It's easily the best game I've played so far this year on the N64 (although Banjo-Tooie might be a strong contender) and will remain one of my favorite games for a long time to come. It's Zelda after all! Go out and buy it already. I promise you won't regret it.

Majora's Mask is living proof that the N64 still has its magic. Skillful hands have crafted a story that's surreal and spooky, deep, and intriguing. Majora's Mask will keep you glued to your N64 for a long, long time.

Majora's Mask is another example of a "typical" high quality Nintendo first party release. I've come to expect excellence from Nintendo and they rarely disappoint.

Nintendo 64Game Critics
In the end, Majora's Mask fights valiantly to get away from its add-on roots and for the most part is successful. However, the game's new features have not been perfected and the frantic pace can feel unbalanced—no doubt a factor due to Miyamoto's lack of involvement. Despite these problems, Majora's Mask is a wonderful place to visit. There is much to see and do, as long as you realize there isn't much time to do it in.

Nintendo 64Cubed3
This truly is a title that Ocarina Of Time can be proud to call its sequel. Quality just seeps out of every area, shop, character, dungeon, and when you walk into a new area, the quality of the atmosphere hits you. A super adventure that has all the best elements of Ocarina Of Time and great touches everywhere you look.

Nintendo 64GameSpot
Majora's Mask is a great game, but it isn't for everybody. Even though it uses the same engine that drove Ocarina of Time, and the gameplay is the same on the surface, the adventure is extremely different. Some will appreciate the game's differences, while others will find the game's focus on minigames and side quests tedious and slightly out of place. While the game definitely has a lot going for it, and in the end comes together in a pretty tight package, skeptics should definitely rent this one first.

Nintendo 64G4 Tech: Tech TV
Zelda fans rejoice, Link is back for a new adventure. And thanks to Skull Kid's evil ways, he must prevent the moon from crashing into the village of Clock Town, and if that weren't enought, he only has three days to do it.

Nintendo 64Gamekult

The appeal of the Zelda franchise has rarely missed a beat with its fans, and just because a re-hashed story or situation is presented to the gamer, it by no means grows tiring. Nintendo is a master in the storytelling department, whether it's conquering the same world again as a kid, adult, Deku, Goron, or Zora, there's always room for the variations of the stories told here in Hyrule. Though it's quite confusing and somewhat of a mystery as to why ‘Zelda' is still in the gaming title. The legendary princess never shows up in the game but, that aside, this game conquers all other RPGs - except its direct predecessor, Ocarina of Time. Upon its release Majora's Mask was met warmly by fans and duly found a place in their hearts. And though, for a Zelda title, the game may fall a little short with the absolute purists, as a single RPG Majora's Mask stands tall.

Nintendo 64RPGamer
All in all, Majora's Mask has the same feel as the rest of the series, but fails to capture that special charm they offer. Still, while it may not be breathtaking, it's still a solid, fun game.
