Description

A7Xpg is a freeware, open-source abstract shooter with vector graphics created by Japanese developer Kenta Cho, where the player guides a ship within the limits of a force-field to collect floating pieces of gold while avoiding collision with incoming enemies. The ship has no weapons, but is able to eliminate the foes after gathering enough gold to fill a gauge at the bottom-right corner and become indestructible for a few seconds. The boost button gives a speed increase that lasts about two seconds, and has to be pressed down repeatedly to keep the ship's momentum. Each stage has a time limit, and a set number of gold pellets to be gathered before moving to the next level. The game is over when time runs out, or the ship is destroyed after colliding with one of the wandering enemies.
