Rapide et violent en dépit du tour par tour, situé dans un univers connu de tout joueur qui se respecte, pas trop boulimique de raccourcis clavier, Doom : The Roguelike constitue peut être la meilleure initiation possible au genre a priori hermétique pratiqué par les aventuriers de l'ASCII perdu. Les débutants loueront son accessibilité, les vétérans ses nombreux modes de jeu et la grande variété d'approches permises. Original, exigeant mais à même de séduire un large public : le Grand Chelem du roguelike. Et gratos en plus !
