The editors of Computer Gaming World (April 2002 issue) named 'Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns' the Best Strategy Game of 2001.
You could call the license battles for the german edition of "Kohan" an eternal struggle. While the US gamers play Kohan since 15.05.2001, the german version is still to come. First, the german company Sunflowers was selected to release Kohan. After some disagreements, Timegate took the license away and gave it to the french Ubi Soft. This was in April. Today I learned that not Ubi Soft, but dtp digital tainment pool (again, a german company) will supply the german players with the eagerly awaited stuff. So much for this - but it comes even more absurd: The box will still bear the Ubi Soft logo - they made the boxes some time ago, and couldn't reprint them in time =)
