Description
This open-source, freeware remake of the
Spanish platform game from 1986 replaces the graphics and sounds with more modern assets, while remaining faithful to the original gameplay. The player controls Redhan, a knight in a quest to defeat three powerful warriors and collect the magical stones from their enchanted breastplates to destroy their master, an evil dark lord that wants to conquer the world.
The warriors took refuge in their master's castle, forcing Redhan to go after them and search the many rooms of the maze-like building. The foreboding place is populated by patrolling guards and a myriad of supernatural creatures. The knight carries a bow and arrow that can only be shot when he's not moving. The arrows destroy most enemies, but some are immune to them. The soldiers can also be killed by jumping on their heads, or touching them on any place but the tip of their weapons. Treasure chests can be found on some locations, containing either good or bad items, like extra ammo and lives, temporary pig curses that transform Redhan into a swine creature,or add more enemies to the scene. The game language can set to English, Spanish, French or German.
