Nexuiz is a remnant of an era when multiplayers shooters were the pinnacle of evolution in social gaming. After Unreal Tournament III, there was nothing. Producers of Nexuiz pushed on with an old title and now this game is one of the last FREE multiplayer titans. It may not be a pretty game, but it's definitely a lot of fun and, in the end, that's all that matters.
Nexuiz is a fun shooter with a variety of weapons. Quake and Unreal Tournament fans should love this. People who are not familiar with those games should still give Nexuiz a try, though, and enter the brutal world of tournament deathmatch. So go on, whip out your machine gun and go hunt aliens!
Out Of Eight
Nexuiz boils down to the original Quake with some upgrades: graphics, sound, weapons, models, maps, and game modes. It’s nothing overly original, but it’s free, so the only thing you’ll spend is the time downloading the game, and you might just enjoy it, especially if you have a hankering for some old school Quake action.
