Description
In
XBill, you are a system administrator. You run Linux, Red Hat, OS2, OSX and all sorts of other operating systems. You're just going about your business, when all of a sudden, mini Bill Gates look a likes start attacking your computers! They're trying to install Windows on them against your will! Use the mouse to click on these mini multi billionaires to stop them. If they manage to install Windows, they will drag the old OS out. To regain a computer, click the mini mogul carrying it before he gets away, and put it back in the right PC.
Some computers are networked together. If one of these mini monopolists infects a networked computer, a spark will go down the cable and infect the next computer. Use the water pale at the top of the screen to put out the spark, and keep it from infecting other the computers on the network. The game ends when you only have one or no working computers. Don't let the Bills win brave SYS.Admin - otherwise we'll have to wait five years before PNG image support!
