Long ago a civilization of people worshipped the Moon and moved to caverns underground to escape mankind. Their life support systems now failing, none of them can remember how to repair the ancients' intricate machinery. A solitary adventurer (you) finds an urgent message asking for help.

Lunar Deep is a first person, point and click Myst-like adventure game. Explore the deep tunnels once inhabited by the Moon worshippers. Talk to those who remain, read about their history, collect objects, find clues, solve puzzles and repair their strange machines.

Various cursors are used for navigation, actions and talking to other characters. Graphics are stills, but there are animated sequences. Inventory objects are stored in your backpack which sits at the top of the gameplay screen. Music plays in the background and there are ambient sound effects.
