Lunar Rover Patrol, doesn't that name make you think of Irem's classic Moon Patrol? Well, playing the games doesn't change that in the slightest. It is a near-perfect replica (given the limitations of the hardware) of the moon-driving, jumping, shooting arcade game. Like the original, it has both beginner and expert courses where you drive your four-wheel (this is one small difference) moon-car on the rocky surface of the moon. While your suspension takes care of most of the terrain, there are some rough spots. You must jump across the craters and above the moon-rocks. And as if that wasn't enough, there are attacking aliens. You must shoot these down with your guns, one pointing in your driving direction and one overhead.
