Mac Gamer
Chaos Overlords is a great play. In all honesty, though, I can't say that I have lost nearly as much sleep playing it as I did playing Civilization. CO does have one killer advantage -- the networking. (The networked version of Civilization isn't available for the Mac yet.) If you like this type of game, and have access to some type of network and some friends to play against, buy it. You won't be disappointed. If you like this type of game and don't have access to a network, go ahead and buy it anyway. The novelty of playing a character with no moral or legal restraint is refreshing (if perhaps a bit offensive to some -- go play tetris), and the various objectives and difficulty levels give lots of replay value. Just make sure you read the manual carefully (as frustrating as that is) and at least the first part of the FAQ before you play. This ain't a game you can just crank up and play.
