Command & Conquer: Generals

Aspyr Media has a winner on their hands with Command & Conquer: Generals. A few small hiccups aside, this game is packed with fast paced RTS action. The hours of multiplayer combat C&C:G provides is well worth $49.95.

In the minds of many gamers there have been only two real-time strategy (RTS) games; the one where the orcs fight the humans and Command & Conquer (C&C). The original first graced Macs and System 7.5 back in late-1997. After an absence of seven plus years, C&C returns to Macs in Westwood Studios’ final project before merging with EA Pacific - Command & Conquer: Generals (Generals).

C&C Generals est un excellent jeu de stratégie temps réel mais reste petit comparé au grand Warcraft 3, les fans de RTS passeront sûrement d'excellents moments sur ce jeu et les mordus de la saga C&C seront aux anges.

It's worth pointing out that the subject matter itself may be reasons for some people to avoid C&C: Generals. It's more realistic than WarCraft, to be sure; however, this manifests itself in rather unpleasant ways. The GLA, specifically, resorts to tactics like suicide bombing and intercepting U.N. supplies, and at least once requires you to mow down civilians in order to achieve your objective. While I personally have no problem with this kind of stuff being included in a computer game, parents might. Also, the voices for Chinese and GLA troops are pathetically exaggerated; it seriously sounds like you're playing a propaganda film.
