Description

Harvey's New Eyes is the successor of Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. This time the player takes the role of Lilly, a convent schoolgirl with two apparant traits: she does not speak a single word during the whole game (a narrator fills in the gaps) and she brings mayhem over other people during her actions. For example one of the first tasks in the game is to dig over the cloister patch - and during the process she kills one of her schoolmates. Is this just bad luck or is Lilly insane? And are those gnomes which paint everything purple which Lilly does not want to see just part of her imagination?

The game keeps the minimalistic graphics style of the predecessor and features the usual adventure elements: walking through the screens, picking up items, "talking" to other characters and solving inventory based puzzles. Occasionally there are logic puzzles which can be skipped. The game concentrates on Lilly's story and the protagonists of the predecessor (save for Harvey) play only secondary roles.
