Inside Mac Games (IMG)
After looking at Fable: The Lost Chapters in detail, it all comes down to the question "Is it worth buying?" Yes, it is worth buying, but with one caveat. F:LC is definitely worthy of its mature rating. You can have multiple wives, you can kill your wife without penalty, and you can pretty much be as evil as you want to be. This isn't exactly suitable for young children. If you're buying this game for a child, I would recommend against it. The price ($50) is also a little steep for thirty or so hours of gameplay. However, if you've got the money and you don't plan on buying this for a twelve-year-old, Fable: The Lost Chapters is an excellent purchase.

MacLife
Fable: The Lost Chapters will satisfy RPG players who demand that choices have consequences, even if those consequences are somewhat less than realistic. And even if you aren’t into consequence-based gaming, you can still have fun watching your character grow horns.

Appletell
The story is a bit tired, the quests can get repetitive, there are some control issues, and character management gets burdensome, but the game’s atmosphere and the connection you’ll develop with your character and the world around him create an immersive gaming experience we haven’t had for quite some time.

Macworld
Fable: The Lost Chapters has been a long time coming to the Mac, perhaps too long. But action RPG fans who haven’t yet played it will be rewarded with dozens of hours of entertaining fun.
