I really enjoyed this refreshing change of pace for flight simulators. Although some may find this type of flight sim boring due to a lack of guided missiles, tanks, and enemy aircraft, those who enjoy air shows and leisure flying will love this one. The beautiful scenes depicted on the box look just like what's in the game, provided your computer can display that hi-rez texture-mapping. Other than the high hardware requirements (which are really necessary for all the fluid movement found in FLIGHT) the only other problems I saw with this game were the CD-ROM loading delays and the landscape graphic quality at close range. If you fly close to the ground, all of the nice details seen from above become chunky mush. However, these inconveniences are not enough to damage a great change from typical flight sims of today. Real and virtual pilots (with sufficient hardware) should take to the skies with FLIGHT Unlimited.
