Description
Hedgewars is a
Worms 2 clone. The game features the same turn based
Artillery game play with an abundance of wacky weapons, randomly generated levels and silly voices.
Many of the weapons are direct copies from
Worms 2 and its sequels. With redrawn graphics and similar controls and physics affecting the projectiles. Some of the more unique items of the
Worms series have been recreated with completely different graphics and themes but similar controls.
Like in
Worms,
Hedgewars allows some strategic play through the rope which can be used to reach hard-to-get locations and girders which can be used to build a fort.
The game features both single player (versus CPU controlled AI) or online/LAN play. There's also several training missions in which the player can learn to use the most basic weapons by shooting and targets.
