Overall, the game isn't much to look at. It's not bad, it's just not good and only a surfing enthusiast will get it. The controls mimic other extreme sports games, but seem to have less accuracy and predictability.

You may never have given much thought to climbing atop a surf board and performing moves with names like the warm water barrel, sweet Florida juice or a 360 roast beef grab — if so, think again. KSPS may not be the most exciting or extreme of sports title around, but it successfully captures the distinctive ‘tude of the sport in a fun and engaging game. Diverse game play and a solid game design spread the goals and tricks in a well balanced fashion that makes the action interesting enough to remain challenging — but not so out of reach that you’re discouraged from attempting that next move.
