Trivia
The points system was implemented in order to mock Sierra adventure games. There is no way to acquire all the points in the game.
This is one of the rare adventure games that allows you to play your role as the main character in three different "modes": "nice", "normal", and "rude". Of course, most puzzles require only one specific mode to be set, but you can experiment by talking to every person in various modes, and you'll encounter some secrets or alternate solutions.
This game is one of the most non-linear classic adventures known to mankind. There are six (!) different ways of completing the first part of the game, three different ways to finish it (playing the entire last part as "nice", "normal", or "bad"), and many puzzles with alternate solutions.
If you use Kyrandia's transporters often enough, when Malcolm emerges at the Bluffs, he'll have a fly's head instead of his own. This is a reference to "The Fly", a movie about a scientist whose genes get combined with a fly's in his machine, and he ends up turning into one.
Sometimes Faun will appear in the jungle swinging on a rope. This is what he did sometimes in Zanthia's hut in the second game, "Hand of Fate", if Zanthia walked back into the hut after leaving the first time.
Legend of Kyrandia 3: Malcolm's revenge was only released on CDROM, unlike the previous sequels which were both released on disk and CDROM.
