Pajama Sam® 3: You are What You Eat from Your Head to Your Feet™
New CD-ROM Adventure for Kids Available Nationwide April 6
Serious trouble is brewing on MopTop Island. The sweets and fats are dramatically increasing their numbers and threatening to take control. A Peace Conference has been called to work out a compromise between all the food groups, but four of the six Delegates have not arrived at the Food Pyramid. In Pajama Sam 3: You Are What You Eat From Your Head to Your Feet, kids help Pajama Sam find the missing delegates, put a stop to the sticky quarrels, fix a few problems, bring peace to MopTop Island and still make it home in time for dinner. (more) "Children can identify with Pajama Sam. The experiences they share with Sam in his highly imaginative world help them to understand things they may encounter on their own, making the adventure fun and educational at the same time," said Shelley Day, president and CEO, Humongous Entertainment. "In Pajama Sam 3, kids are introduced to the six food groups and the idea that foods need to work together to form a healthy diet, something that affects them daily."
In his effort to help the inhabitants of MopTop Island, Pajama Sam meets and interacts with many comical new characters as well as some old friends. Some of these funny foods include:
- General Beetfoot, the red-faced, short-tempered commander-in-chief of the healthy foods group
- Florette, the soft-spoken, intelligent broccoli who serves as the vegetable delegate at the Peace Conference
- Granny Smythe, an elderly green apple who can remember back when there were only four food groups
- Sprinkle, a gentle doughnut who savors swinging or swimming and helps Sam navigate his way around the island
- Bean Number 47, a kidney bean who distinguishes himself in the ant-like social order of the other beans by being the official Peace Conference delegate and getting to wear a straw hat
- Zak Zuke, a zucchini who's as cool as a cucumber and has a knack for guessing weight
As kids direct Pajama Sam in his new adventure, they immerse themselves in a richly detailed world consisting of more than 40 hand-drawn locations and thousands of animations. The Fry Jam is a river blocked with a giant french fry logjam. Mount Wisdom is being chipped away by a variety of candies. At Muscle Beach, the muffins exercise with the "Universal" weight machine while the cupcakes bake in the sun. At each location, comical characters and click points will keep kids continually entertained.
