DescriptionRiana Rouge was a timid secretary who was fired by her boss, the sinister-looking Frank Virago, president of Virago Inc. On her way to say the last good-bye, Riana witnesses her boss sexually molesting a co-worker. She tries to interfere, but as a result is transported into a magical dimension. There, she has to travel to three different worlds and find three jewels needed to defeat a mysterious dictator, and also discover her own sexuality in the process.
Riana Rouge is an adult-themed adventure game utilizing live actors and pre-rendered backgrounds. Besides puzzle-solving, the gameplay mechanics are largely based on conversation. The player is prompted to select between emotionally charged responses during dialogues, utilizing a device called "Emotivator". The emotions are represented by colors and include fear (yellow), deception (green), surrender (blue), attack (purple), seduction (red) and inquiry (orange). Selecting a wrong emotion may lead to Riana's death and the game's premature end.
