Description
Night of the Raving Dead is the third episode of the second season in the Sam & Max episodic series. After successfully preventing the destruction of civilization as we know it on Easter Island, they now have to face the German vampire Jurgen at his rave club called "Zombie Factory" in Stuttgart, Germany.
The gameplay is identical to the previous games in the series. The game is entirely in 3D and the player controls Sam. Sam can interact with the environment through mouse-based actions. He can talk to other characters, examine the environment, pick up items and use them with other objects in order to solve all the puzzles thrown at him. The inventory is shown as a cardboard box at the bottom of the screen. The episode includes new characters like Jurgen as well as old ones like Sybill who is finally back in her office. The movie studio from
Sam & Max Episode 2: Situation: Comedy also returns as a location. Again there are a few new mini-games like a rhyming duel against Jurgen, as well as slightly altered version of the driving sequence which now requires you to shoot zombies.
