Inside Mac Games (IMG)
The Livin' Large expansion pack offers numerous improvements to the standard game itself, including options to alter the personality and traits of a character while playing the game. In addition to that, the walls, windows, doors, floors, everything with the exception of the roof, now has more options (including the kitchen sinks). The home design engine has not changed at all — if you are looking for new ways to manipulate the dirt and such of the world, you are more or less out of luck.

Au final, sans réellement révolutionner Les Sims, avec ses nouveaux objets, carrières, éléments du décor et situations parfois cocasses, Livin Large est plaisant. Les fans de la série seront comblés par cette extension qui leur donnera entière satisfaction.

Whether you buy Livin' Large depends on what kind of player you are. There are some funky innovations, but nothing really earth shattering like, say, an internet multiplayer option. If you're dying to fill your yard with garden gnomes (I love the gnomes!), or just want some new facets to an already fantastic game, grab it. If most of the Simware you download come from sites you wouldn't want your mother to see, perhaps you should spend the money on some cracked corn. Go out to the park on a sunny day and feed the ducks. Get some sun, ya freak. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to hunt down those Electra-Woman and Dynagirl skins.
