Mac Gamer (1996)
With its incredible depth, realism, detail, and high-quality production, Spycraft is an amazing achievement for Macintosh gamers. Anyone who complains that games are becoming too short and low on replay value should take a look at Spycraft. I guarantee you will you finish this game within a couple of hours, days, or possibly weeks. The acting is realistic, and the special effects and soundtrack truly offer substantial portions to the game. Once the Open Transport problem between PCI Macs and Spycraft is solved, there will be no weakness in a game that seamlessly blends fact and fiction, and takes adventure gaming to an entirely new level.
Macworld (Jan, 1997)
Perhaps because of the famous consultants, there's a degree of complexity that keeps you going past some of the inevitable boring patches in this three-CD marathon. Also, unlike in many other products of its ilk, Spycraft's live-action segments do not produce the impulse to spacebar ahead to the actions--you really have to listen to what's going on so you can play on. Finally, Spycraft breaks some important ground in linking players to a special site on the World Wide Web.
High Score (Oct, 1996)
Spycraft - The Great Game är ett förbaskat bra spel med en mycket bra verklighetskänsla för de som kan ta god tid på sig och som dessutom har ett gott tålamod.
