DescriptionStargunner is a 2D (with pre-rendered 3D graphics) side-scrolling shoot'em up game, with many elements similar to Raptor: Call of the Shadows. The action takes place in the far future. The player controls a space ship, flies straightforward to the right and shoots various enemies (including end-level bosses). Between missions, the player can visit the shop to buy new equipment in exchange for collected money. The game has three difficulty settings and four types of missions.

TriviaStargunner was originally supposed to be an Amiga game with a PC conversion supposed to follow, but the PC version soon overtook and led development, and the Amiga version was eventually dropped. Most of the art was actually developed on an Amiga using Deluxe Paint.
