My advice when playing Tropico is to leave your morals at the door and grasp power with both hands, choking the life out of anyone who might try to take it from you. The game is supposed to make you happy, not the other way around. Seize the moment, and imagine you've put your secret police on the trail of the makers of SimEarth. Trust me, no one will march for them.
While Tropico has a unique premise, and gameplay choices give different styles and objectives for rule, it has the potential to become repetitive. Even with that chance and some bugs, Tropico is a banana republic strategy to relish. What other city-builder lets you make alliances with Russia or enact martial law?
Mac Addict
Though the building process can be slow, Tropico is like Sim City with sombreros and banana daiquiris—satisfying if you love life in the slow lane.
