Pour finir, sachez que le jeu est jouable en multi-joueurs : en LAN ou par internet. Pour ce dernier, il existe un serveur principal (Valkirienet) qui à l'instar de Battle.net gère l'activité des joueurs, propose des classements, du dialogue en direct, etc. Cependant il n'a pas la fréquentation nécessaire : si vous tenez absolument à jouer en ligne, il vaut mieux rencontrer des passionnés en dehors et se donner rendez-vous sur une IP personnelle.

This depth of play makes Victoria daunting at the outset. Worse still is the lack of an in-game tutorial (unlike in the earlier EU games) and the skimpy manual. Then there's the obfuscated interface with its cluttering pop-up boxes and windows-within-windows-within-windows. For a novice player, like me, trying to learn how to play Victoria was like being pummeled by a library of dusty law tomes. Hard work. For experienced Paradox-game players, I imagine the learning curve would resemble Mount Everest much less, and there is much here to keep them interested for months and months.
