Mac Gamer
With another multi-million dollar budget under its wings, Wing Commander IV truly shows what a large budget can do for a computer game. Well polished and rehearsed actors, with wonderful cinematography, and well written story-line, WC IV offers the gamer a realistic space combat experience as well as involved plot determination through conversations with other characters. Although an interactive movie, a game of this magnitude should grace a space within your software collection as a favorite movie would in your video library.

Visst är det mesta bättre, men inte nytt. Uppriktigt sagt är det svårt att känna entusiasm för ett spel vi redan sett och spelat många gånger. Den som inte spelat någon av de andra delarna är det bara att gratulera, om man äger en monster-Mac vill säga. Då är detta spel alldeles lysande. Men känslan av dejá-vu och de ruskiga datorkraven drar ner betyget från en given fyra.
