Just Adventure
I don’t want to ruin any more of the fun of discovery with this game, so you’ll have to trust me when I say World of Warcraft is a blast to play, and incredibly addicting.

WoW is a fun game to play...if you're looking for a new hobby. The game itself is expensive, and even more so if you want to continue playing it. There's always a sensation of having to play just a little longer, to reach the next level, or finish the next quest, or discover a new area. But the game is also frustrating in that regard, because you don't really achieve closure. Sure, you can clear out the dungeon and save the city like your quest told you to, but then the monsters all respawn so that the next hero can take them on. To get any fun out of the game, you have to enjoy playing on its terms.

World of Warcraft offers just about everything you could want in an online world. You can set out on epic quests; discover a king’s ransom in treasure, magic items, special weapons, and armor; and interact with a parade of player and nonplayer characters. Along your journeys, you’ll come across beautifully crafted cities, each with its own architecture, and varied landscapes filled with interesting plants and animals—many of which want to feast on your flesh.

World of Warcraft is the real deal, it’s the first truly fun MMORPG I’ve ever played. I’ve written 2000 words and I haven’t even scratched the surface of this game. There are so many things I haven’t mentioned; it’s quite literally a game that never ends. With its deep quest system, multitude of character races and classes, lush visuals and rich audio, World of Warcraft is a must buy.

WoW is a great game! It has depth but is simple to start playing and is geared for fun, not agony. I'm not going to suggest that it will appeal to everyone, but 1.5 million subscribers? Something to think about.
WoW has been setup for maximum RPG enjoyment. Blizzard did their research, cherry-picking what they considered to be the best features of a RPG while minimizing the negatives. WoW has depth, with lots of things to see and do, professions, socializing, and the Instance experience. As a beginner, leveling happens quickly, providing a quick shot of accomplishment. It's easy to locate quest givers and beginning quests are simple missions.
