Description

X-Plane 5 is the fifth edition of the single-player flight simulator. Players get to fly around in the world using various nav-aids and instruments. Several aircraft are included in the package, and more can be found online. The main focus of the X-Plane series is to model correct airflow around an aircraft, using engineering techniques similar to those used for designing real aircraft. Much of the manual is dedicated to aircraft design, and the user can make their own aircraft and scenery with the tools included. An earlier version called X-Plane Classic is also included.
