The Madden 101 option from the main menu takes the player to this screen. All these options are animated sequences illustrating the new options in this game
One of the new options in this game is 'The Owner's Box'. This allows the player to own their favourite team; renovate, rebuild or relocate their stadium; set prices for tickets and merchandise etc
The 'My Madden' option from the main menu takes the player to a series of screens showing the Madden Cards. These are awarded in-game as challenges are completed
The Game Features have the usual 'Create A Player' option. It's very detailed, even the players bum can be customised

The player can create their own team or they can import one that they created for another game in the Madden series. This team was created for Madden 2005
The Playmaker Control Offense feature lets the player alter the receiver's route if the opposition's defence has anticipated the play and much more. There's a Playmaker Defense option too
The game uses it's load screens to remind the player of the controls. Other load screens remind the player of the new game functions
Team selection. The player is to control the Buccaneers and before the match they choose the uniform and the offensive/defensive playbooks
A game is underway. The Ask Madden button brings up a selection of potential plays with the great man's preferred selection in the centre

The game can be paused. When paused the player can replay the last piece of the game. The camera can be positioned at almost any angle anywhere on the pitch and can zoom in
The pause menu changes depending on the game function being used. Here the player is practicing standard plays and the game menu allows access to coaching strategies etc
