Description
Based on the world of the WizKids' tabletop game Mage Knight, players take on a role of one of the five warriors who have sworn to root out all evil. These warriors, guardians, heroes, killer of dragons or however you may call them are:
- Janos Freeborn, a dwarf gunner, a former slave of the Atlantean magestone mines. He is hairy, small, mean, speaks with a scottish accent and he prefers his women like he prefers his beer: dark and bitter.
- Kithana, an unbelievably sexy vampiress from the destroyed House of Uhlrik. She is lonely, sad, fragile and she needs you to play with her now, and besides look how incredible...well suffice to say, she is a follower of the "less is more" philosophy...literally.
- Chela, an amazon warrior and a spiritual one, too. Prefering to spend her time with totems, spirits and wolves rather than men, she follows the philosophy "less explicit, more mysterious" in her clothing style.
- Sarus, a draconum mage with a bad childhood. He is silent, he is lonely, and he is fated to be present in world-changing events and be unable to affect or stop them.
- If dwarves and draconums are really not your thing, you may prefer a real man with big hands and a good heart. Look no further... he is Tal Windstrider! He is muscular (so big!), he is handsome (omigosh - the sun reflects from his teeth!), he is a noble from one of the ruling families, and he is an elven paladin (he might not be at home much but at least he doesn't cheat on you).
Lead these heroes through an epic singleplayer campaign, where you must stop Evil from being Evil. Battle against a score of enemies in this Action RPG, similar to
Dungeon Siege. There are various magical locations, like forests and catacombs. The difficulty level is balanced automatically based on your playing style. Unlike many other games in the genre, there is a focus on dialogue with voice-acting, and you can go multiplayer with friends.
Alternate Titles
- "Mage Knight: Апокалипсис" -- Russian title
