Think you have what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the best tennis players in the Mario universe?
Mario Tennis returns to the Game Boy with an action-packed tennis role-playing adventure game! Clay and Ace, the Tennis Academy's budding stars, learn that masked strangers with mad tennis skills have beaten the best pros and have challenged the winner of the Island Open to a contest on their own court!
Who are the masked players? To find out, Clay or Ace must rank up from the Junior Class through the Varsity Class and grab the Island Open trophy.
Camelot designs tennis games with fun in mind first. Hitting the ball is as simple as pressing the A button for Top Spin or the B button for Back Spin. The L & R buttons are used for Power Shots should you choose to launch them manually.
When Clay or Ace level up by winning matches and mini-games, they can improve their Power, Control, Side Spin, and Speeds skills plus add to their secondary skills like Serve, Stroke, Volley, Top Spin, and Slice, allowing you to customize your character just the way you want.
Choose Exhibition mode and play a quick and casual match with the Mario crew. You can play as Clay or Ace or as any of the opponents you beat in Power Tour mode. You can use any of the Power Shots you've won from mini-games, in the Exhibition mode.
With its excellent gameplay mechanics, wild Power Shots, and unique approach to role-playing, Mario Tennis: Power Tour offers an experience every gamer will enjoy.
