Seasoned Nintendonians will be able to run, jump, and spin through this cart's six worlds in a couple of days, but it's just right for its target audience - younger kids. M.C. Kids will tantalize you with its puzzles and secrets, while making you hungry for some good ol' Mickey D's.

Thus, I believe that the gaming public should not shun this game simply because it is directly connected to a major multinational corporation. Instead, it should be taken for what it is: a fun and challenging platformer. Sadly, it did not perform too well overall, which is a shame because many NES gamers of the time had missed out on a quality experience. So if you find M.C. Kids at a used video game store or middle-aged man's yard sale, do not hesitate to snatch it up. Just be forewarned that you may be approached by Grimace during the gameplay. Be forewarned...

Who would've thought it'd be so hard to get to a conversation with that walking gumdrop, Grimmace? How embarrassing - yet still fulfilling. Mick and Mack also grew up a bit to star in the Genesis title, Global Gladiators. For gamers looking for refreshing platform thrills on the NES, MC Kids is all that and an order of fries.

Now be warned - don't buy this game if you're looking for an innovative challenge, it's just not for you.

NESGame Freaks 365
Don't think that this even is one of those kiddy games you'll complete in an hour. This game has a very high difficulty level, especially at the end, even to the point of being too high if the game was originally aimed at young kids. Anybody who likes Super Mario Brothers 2 should give this game a shot if they can find it.

The graphics are crisp and clean, and they still look very good. The music is standard fare for a platform game. The game play is simple enough, but variety is added such as water areas, slippery ice, weight sensitive blocks, and more. McDonald Land is a fun game for the whole family. The price is right and there are 0 calories. “Would like some fries with that?”
