Description

Meerca Chase II is the sequel to Meerca Chase and like its predecessor is a snake clone.

In the game the player controls a hungry 'meerca' that must eat neggs, a strange smiling half egg half fruit, to survive and thrive. For each negg the meerca eats his tail will grow. Different color neggs are worth different values, yellow being the lowest. Should the meerca collide with a red negg, a wall, or its own tail the game will end.

The game has three modes of play:
  • Classic: Here the player can move at only right angles to achieve his gluttonous aims.

  • Freestyle: Here the play is operated only with the left and right arrow keys to move the meerca in undulating curves.

  • Maze: The maze is a set of obstacles that if touched will end the game. You'll have to scamper around these walls if you hope to have your fill of neggs.
In addition to this there are three settings of difficulty, easy, medium, and hard. The higher you set the difficulty the faster you'll move and you'll earn more points for each negg eaten.

Unlike the previous game you may also change the background of the playing field.
