Advertising Blurbs - 3DS:
Mavericks X and Zero are on the case!

It is an age where humans and intelligent robots known as Reploids co-exist peacefully. "Maverick Hunters" have been assembled to hunt down broken Reploids, or "Mavericks", to maintain order in society.

In the Reploid research facility on Laguz Island, Reploids are being turned into lifeless shells as if their souls have been erased... Maverick Hunters Mega Man X and Zero have been dispatched to investigate and solve this mysterious turn of events.

Play as either Mega Man X or Zero as you jump across gaps and platforms, gather new abilities by collecting DNA souls, and blast through the evil forces that haunt the island. Solve the case, and restore the Reploids their missing souls!

This game is only playable in 2D.

Mega Man is back and is in danger of losing his mind-literally! A new weapon is erasing reploids' minds and it's up to X and Zero (you can play as either) to find who's at fault and stop them.

X and Zero fly solo through the first two stages, but get to team up later in the game. The heroes' fighting styles couldn't be more different. While the Blue Bomber can shoot enemies from a distance, Zero must approach and slash with his weapons.

You won't be able to get far without unlocking power-ups, including body parts, extra lives and, perhaps most crucially, sub-tanks.

Mega Man Xtreme 2 is in stores now.

Something mysterious is going on at the reploid research island. The reploids have ceased functioning... their data strangely erased. Now the investigation team encounters 'irregular' reploids infected with a strange new DNA chip. This strange DNA chip, known as 'DNA Soul', replaces useful data with a devastating Sigma virus and places all reploids in imminent danger. Now, it's up to Mega Man X and his comrade, Zero, to get to the damaged island and find out who is behind the DNA Soul virus.

  • Change between Mega Man X and Zero at any time
