Micro Machines are now able to explore the third dimension. Gameplay still stays the same, but the whole new graphics now look more realistic. Also a lot of new multiplayer options were added.

There was a Micro Machines V3 Hall of Fame on the codemasters site. After racing a Time Trial or a Test Drive, a scrambled code of your time was displayed on the screen. This code could be submitted to the rankings site so everyone could see your skills.
